Raymond Patmore

Based in London, Raymond Patmore is best known for creating otherworldly impressions – characters in space and time that exist in a world slightly like our own. He works predominantly in ink, though has been known to paint.

Over the last while he has begun to experiment by creating a written narrative alongside his work to help breath life and communicate meaning into his imagined worlds.

Raymond has always drawn from his imagination and his style tends towards the dark.

Having graduated in 1985 from Middlesex Polytechnic and having made his career in graphic design, Raymond is now taking the time to explore and develop his art. He is available for worldwide commissions.

The Galloping Philippe Mussard

The Galloping Philippe Mussard,
Looked divine in his pink leotard,
Asked for whom did he dress?
“The unwashed and depressed.”
And it cheered him to hear them all laugh.

When he ran his Sis through with a sabre,

As it wasn’t his turn,
To play Zorro, the masked crusader!

Called up Satan while chanting a spell,
Looking sultry and hot,
She swooned on the spot,
So He whisked her briskly to Hell.
